English term or phrase: (the ) INVOLVED (teeth may be lost)
CONSENT FOR PERIODONTAL SURGERY
........
........
I understand that a small number of patients do not respond successfully to periodontal surgery, and in such cases, the INVOLVED teeth may eventually be lost. Periodontal surgery may not be successful in preserving function or appearance. Because each patient’s condition is unique, long-term success may not occur.

Does it sound correct to say "los dientes involucrados". I can say "riesgos involucrados, socios involucrados, etc.; but I just do not know about "dientes involucados". I am at a loss and cannot think of a better word.
Look forward to your opinion.
