Buenos días, compañeros:

Estoy traduciendo un cuestionario dirigido a deportistas para estudiar cómo les afecta la COVID-19 en la práctica deportiva. Una de las preguntas es la siguiente:

Have you suffered from a past history of allergies to medication, plant material or animal material?

No sé cuál sería la traducción exacta de "plant material" y "animal material". Lo más simple que se me ocurre es eliminar "material": "alergia a plantas o animales", pero creo que se pierde una parte del sentido y no es tan preciso como el original. Creo que "materias/productos de origen vegetal/animal" tampoco sería correcto, no me termina de convencer.

La traducción es para España.
