Hello everyone,
I am translating a book titled "The Slow Down Diet: Eating for Pleasure, Energy, & Weight Loss." The publisher and I thought that the good people of Proz.com could help us with the title and subtitle translation. I am entering the subtitle and subtitle as two different questions, so please refer to my other entry as well.
Which of the following choices would seem more appropriate to you for the title? Or, can you come up with any other suggestions?

1. ** La dieta del sosiego ** (my suggestion to the publisher)
2. ** La dieta lenta y agradable ** (the reviser's suggestion)
3. ** La dieta relajada y placentera ** (my compromise suggestion for the publisher)

One of the concerns raised by the publisher was whether the words "sosiego / sosegarse" (for the concept of "slowing down," which is used throghout the book) will be readily understood by the prospective Spanish-speaking reader, and whether it works well for marketing purposes.

Suena feo usar dos adjetivos cuando se quiere una frase llamativa y, supongo, pegajosa. Francamente, a mí me gusta mil veces más tu solución que la del revisor. El editor parece tener un concepto muy pobre de sus futuros lectores hispanohablantes. ¡Ah, lo que tenemos que aguantar a veces los traductores!

Of your options it is a mixture of "La dieta del sosiego" and "La dieta relajada y placentera".
Can't quite explain why but "La dieta lenta y agradable" doesn't sound quite right, the word "lenta" doesn't fit well with "dieta".
