Permeabilidad de fracturas/cleats Explanation: The permeability for rocks, coal and oil is based on the of the Coal itself which is controlled primarily by a network of natural fractures sets called face cleats and butt cleats. These sets are aligned at right angles to each other (orthogonal) and are perpendicular to bedding. Now for other elements like Methane, gas, and oil fracture permeability is the norm. For example, the result of Methane generation in low-permeability rock matrices is fracture permeability development. For oil and gas is the fracture permeability of the formation is what facilitates its extraction. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 11 hrs (2014-03-07 23:30:52 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- http://www.glossary.oilfield.slb.com/en/Terms/f/fracture_per... https://www.onepetro.org/journal-paper/SPE-159801-PA Reference: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0016236113...
