I know you're looking for a new term but I don't see how you could write something like "huérfano" as there are no entries using it, and any other synonyms wouldn't really work in Spanish. |

"Pozo ciego" (si se ha cerrrado o "tapiado"?) Pozo cerrado, o "pozo inactivo", "pozo sacado de servicio" o "retirado de servicio..." Incluso "pozo inactivo" tal vez pueda funcionarte. Con algo de contexto quizá podamos aportarte alguna otra idea más "ad hoc". De lo contrario...
