English term or phrase: vacuum
If a feather and a rock are dropped in vacuum - a container that contains no air - both the feather and the rock will reach earth’s surface at the same time. That’s because there is no air resistance acting against the objects. Both objects are pulled to earth at the same rate of acceleration.
