conmovedor/emocionante Explanation: Creo que aquí se utiliza "heart-strong", quizás, como opuesto a "headstrong" (es decir, tozudo, o que utiliza más la cabeza). Heart-strong, entonces, sería más bien que utiliza el corazón, que se deja llevar por las emociones... por lo que propondría hablar de "un reparto conmovedor" o "emocionante". O si no "un reparto que conmueve". Según tus gustos. |

Un fuerte elenco Explanation: It just means they're a strong group of actors. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 53 mins (2016-03-15 14:07:32 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- What the author means is that the cast is as strong as a heart, alluding to how it beats over the course of an entire lifetime --- a hyphenated adjective used here by a writer so anxious, apparently, to do so that s/he does it not once but twice. Could that be a copy-paste mistake or is it actually repeated?? In announcements for organizations such as the American Heart Association, a similar construction may have used, e.g., something like "Get heart-smart America" or "Get heart-healthy America". In other (US) contexts, you might hear *head-strong* ...maybe even in conjuction with *flesh-weak*... Anyway, this is my take on on the author's intent. se empeñan en darnos [todo] su corazón / son todo corazón / se entregan de todo corazón Explanation: Sí, creo que el juego de palabras indicado con “headstrong” (empecinado, testarudo, empecinado), es lo que el original trata de comunicar. Curiosamente, el pasado noviembre, cuando fui a despedir a mi padre (pues falleció tras 94 años de vida docente y creativa…) mi hermana Graciela me regaló un libro de su profesora de caligrafía china, “Palabras con corazón”, que la verdad, me encanta, por su estética y su mensaje. (Incluyo un enlace de Google abajo)… En este libro hay muy buenas citas. En concreto la siguiente: “Las palabras van al corazón, cuando han salido del corazón”. (R. Bueno, en el caso de este “post” mío, las palabras creo que salen del intelecto, y espero que lleguen al intelecto… Pero es que a veces el intelecto es tan conmovedor como el corazón… Bueno, aunque sea “racional” “analítico”, creo que siendo sincero, lo que digo sale también del corazón: Moliner: salir una cosa del corazón: Ser sincera o realmente sentida. todo corazón: Expresión calificativa que se aplica a la persona de «buen corazón» o generosa.
