English to Spanish translations [PRO]
Art/Literary - Poetry & Literature / Story elements
English term or phrase: setting
Among the story elements we can find THE SETTING (as well as the characters, plot, etc)
I know there are small differences between these 3 translations for setting and any of them could be right but I would like to find the best one. Is the setting of the story translated as: ¿el marco, el ambiente o el escenario?

contexto/ marco

Explanation:

Marco/ marcos temporal y espacial

Explanation:

"Setting, in literature, the location and time frame in which the action of a narrative takes place."

Example sentence(s):
