muerte // estertores finales Explanation: Una de las acepciones de "dissolution" es "muerte" Definition of dissolution 1: the act or process of dissolving: such as a: separation into component parts b(1): DECAY, DISINTEGRATION (2): DEATH grew convinced of his friend's approaching dissolution — Elinor Wylie https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/dissolution Es la descripción de la muerte de las personas contagiadas por esta peste. THE “Red Death” had long devastated the country. No pestilence had ever been so fatal, or so hideous. Blood was its Avatar and its seal—the redness and the horror of blood. There were sharp pains, and sudden dizziness, and then profuse bleeding at the pores, with dissolution. The scarlet stains upon the body and especially upon the face of the victim, were the pest ban which shut him out from the aid and from the sympathy of his fellow-men. And the whole seizure, progress and termination of the disease, were the incidents of half an hour. https://www.sparknotes.com/lit/poestories/full-text/masque-o... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2021-02-15 19:46:39 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Hola José Pablo: `como comento con Toni, creo que "dissolution" es un eufemismo, pero no me parece que quede natural en español. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2021-02-15 19:52:26 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- - "... dolores agudos, vértigo repentino y luego sangrado abundante por los poros antes de exhalar el último aliento."
