o gotitas secundarias dispersas.

Lo de "satellite" por lo visto se refiere a que esas gotitas se forman al romperse la parte de atrás de las gotas principales. No sé si "satelitales" es el término técnico usado en español, pero "microgotas" o "secundarias" al menos parece más comprensible.
