Another example now in use, Yeah Sure (Ye shr) means maybe, not quite the same in Eng. slang, which expresses doubt.

Duh at end of sentence in Eng. is rather rude, like you are not very bright, but in Mandarin, Duh, (de) us often used, meaning as we are all aware.

  • Do you have my ten dollars? Yeah, sure, (When pigs fly, of course not)
