No es tan obvio, es correcto, existe el mal habito de hacerle cortocircuito a la bateria para ver si tiene carga

Like so many things in life, "it goes without saying" that the user should avoid short-circuiting the battery. But, that doesn't mean it shouldn't be said - especially in the user manual accompanying something that is manufactured in millions and, hence, capable of generating hundreds if not thousands of accidents and/or claims against the manufacturer if they fail to warn of the danger. It's part of any sensible manufactuer's "risk management" strategy.

Revisando los manuales de diferentes móviles resulta que SÍ es una advertencia frecuente. Pensé que sería demasiado evidente como para ponerlo en un manual pero no.

Yo pensé en lo mismo. Sería "don´t short-circuit the battery" en tal caso. Pero por otro lado: es tan lógico que sería una mala idea hacer un cortocircuito que casi no sería necesario advertirlo al usuario..... ¿no?
