Estoy traduciendo un manual de una "transceiver" (two-way radio).
Uno de sus componentes es el "jacklight".

En el manual dice:
*Jacklight*: under the standby conditions, press emergency alarm key to lighten the *jacklight* and repeat above actions to close the jacklight.

Emergency Alarm Key: Press it to open or close *jacklight".

Turbo Power: Under transmitted state, press the emergency alarm key to flash the *jacklight*.


Yo traduje jack como "conector", y por el dibujo del transceptor jacklight podría ser "luz del conector". ¿ es correcto? ¿ o hay otro término?

He visto que jacklight es un modo de las linternas e incluso una función que viene en los walkie-talkie, utilizado sin traducción al español. Se también que es utilizado para cazar o pescar de noche. Te dejo algunas referencias que encontré. Saludos.
