Estoy traduciendo el manual de un transceptor (Two-way radio).

En casi todas las páginas se repite la frase: "users can enable this function by *programming software*".

"Users can program F1 and F2 key for one of auxiliary functions by *programming software*.

Mi duda surge porque he visto en la traducción de otros manuales dos opciones:

" mediante el software de programación" o " mediante la programación del software". Yo creo que es software de programación, pero agradecería vuestra opinión.

agree  Neil Ashby: Dinosaurs stuck in the mud will probably not agree with the use of "software" (shock horror a neologism is destroying the Spanish language by bringing it into the 21st century), the classic alternatives being "programa de/para programación".
