English term or phrase: sound bar speaker
If the sink device does not support the output audio format (HDTV, home theater receiver, sound bar speaker), you may either hear sound with interference or no sound from the speakers.

I have translated the above into Swedish as follows:

Om den skrivande lagringsanordningen inte stödjer utsignalens ljudformat (HDTV, hemmabiomottagare, ljudplanka) kan du antingen höra en ljudstörning eller inget ljud alls från högtalarna.

I have thus translated the term 'sound bar speaker' with 'ljudplanka'. Have never heard about anything such as a 'ljudplanka', is this a correct translation by me? Or is it insufficient, does it only cover 'sound bar'?

The whole translation job is a manual for an AV switch for home theater, HDTV, LCD-TV.
