A white label product is normally a product that is produced by one company that is the producer and the other companies, who are the marketers they re-brand the product. This is to make it appear as if they originally made it.
Coop har flera egna varumärken, så kallade EMV, inom olika områden.

Blåvitt lanserades 1979 i Sverige. Blåvitt kännetecknades av att dess produkter säljs till ett lågt pris, och utan stor marknadsföring samt att varornas namn är självklara (tandkräm heter tandkräm, exempelvis). Produkternas förpackningsdesign är enkel för att hålla nere kostnaderna. X-tra är Coops lågprismärke, som innehåller bl.a rengöringsprodukter, kycklingfilé, ris, läsk, krossade tomater, juice, pommes frites och kaffe. I takt med att X-tra introduceras ersätts märket Blåvitt

disagree  Anna Herbst: Even if white label products are cheap, they are usually generic products sold under the name of the store in question, eg. Coop. Lågprismärken (discount brands) are sold cheaply under their own name.
