English term or phrase: to share the Good News with someone
Greetings,

Please see:
http://ministry-to-children.com/paul-and-barnabas-lesson/

The full sentence:
“This morning as you arrived we have been working on different activities to help us to share the Good News with people God puts in our path.”

It is important that I explain this concept well so that you can give an accurate translation. The Good News in question (actually the word İncil is from the Greek word evangelion, which means ‘good news’) refers to Jesus dying for our sins on the Cross, so that everyone who truly accepts Him and what He has done finds forgiveness for their sins and new life. It may also involve people explaining how He has changed them on the inside in giving them this new life.

It most certainly does not involve telling people what to believe or trying to ‘convert’ them – this would be terribly arrogant as only God has the right to tell us what to believe, not man.

All the best, and many thanks,

Simon

müjdeyi birisiyle paylaşmak/müjdelemek
Explanation:
A suggestion. I thinkas far as communicating the "good news" to someone can be interpreted as "müjdelemek" or "müjde vermek". I believe it does have the symbolic quality that is sought here.

Edit: I think, as far as communicating the "good news" to someone, this can be interpreted as "müjdelemek" or "müjde vermek".

And I woud personally opt for "müjdelemek".

Explanation:
I am not sure if "Iyi Haberler" has the same connotation as "Good News" above. I decided to offer it anyhow.

Kutsal Söz

Explanation:
Would this be an adequate way of referring to the evangelical sense of the term? It might fit in neatly with "Kutsal Kitap", meaning the bible.
