Explanation:
Personally, I think 'Car yahan Khari karain' is a better translation then the one I gave. The only problem is that 'Khara karnA' could also be taken in the meanings of just 'standing and waiting' and may cause confusion if a traffic rule allows for passenger pickups from a particular spot, but not for stopping the engine and leaving the car.

I think this is one of those cases where it is smarter to take the English word and adopt it into one's language, rather then try to come up with wordy translations, which can be inconvenient and confusing.

On a side note: I think no one replied to this question because there doesn't seem to be much of a problem with the translation provided in the question itself.

And no, 'car bithAi nahi jAti.'

neutral  Kamran Nadeem: I think we should use 'Park' itself instead of "Lagana", as we are using a lot of English verbs in Urdu and those are commonly understood.

  -> If you had read my full answer, this is exactly what I had suggested. I even said that I prefered "khari karna" to "lagaana" if the choice was between the two. The answer I gave was merely to reply to the questioner who wanted another Urdu term.
