disagree  Irshad Muhammad: The given translation best suits for the term "Energy saver", so may not be appropriate. We must have an analytical approach for translating from one language to another.

Explanation:
The better way is to use the transliteration of the term as it seems difficult to find a translation which is equally popular in the Urdu speaking society. We may find a suitable translation like "Tawanai asar aafreen" etc but any of translation which is not popular can creat a confusion amongst the target audience. I personally belive that the modern terms especially those related to scinece and techonology are well understood keeping them in English instead of translating them by using unknown or strange Urdu words.

  -> "اثر آفرین" means producing an affect. The device produces an affect due to which it stops wasting energy when it is fully charged. The energy saving is one of the result of this affect, so it is incorrect to say it "saving". This is an affect......
