English term or phrase: the highlighting of expressive language of our painter
I have just asked the translation of this expression. Now I would like to know if it is better to use the saxon genitive, so it could be "our painter's highlighting of expressive language".

Selected answer:the way our painter highlights expressive language
Explanation:
or "the emphasis that our painter gives to the use of expressive language - depending on what you mean.

Both of the versions you suggest are inelegant and reek of translationese, although the one with the Saxon genitive is less bad. While Italian is very noun-oriented, English prefers to express things with verbs. Too many "of"s is also a bit of a drag.
