English translation: bendy + flexible, bendable

English term or phrase: ¿bandy? ¿bendy?
I am translating into Spanish from a videotape, so I'm not quite sure of the exact word.

They are talking about future robots, which will no longer look as "star wars" robots but they will be made of new materials, smart materials, and they will even be soft and... ¿bendy? ¿bandy? ¿bundy? ;-)

I'm quite lost here, any help would be greatly appreciated.
