English term or phrase: is the same
Even when Dawkins does consider the detail of supposed transitions, as he attempts to do with the eye, he ignores the rules of compound probability. He insists that the probability of each stage occurring in the supposed evolution of this amazingly complex sense organ, ***is the same***, because there is no ‘knowledge’ of the event before or after.

In what sense? "is unimportant" or "is the same probability"?

Explanation:
Since Dawkins doesn't have different experiences other than the ones he experienced, he would see through his eyes what he experienced. He cannot give out another ideas or think differently, because he was never exposed to them, and no knowledge of the event or after.

disagree  Cilian O'Tuama: sorry, this is English monolingual, and your explanation is not English (though the individual words are).// Merrily merrily merrily ...

-> Cilian, I don't understand what you mean here. I know that it's a monolingual question, and I tried to be precise as possible for my explanations. Are you implying that it's hard for you to understand my explanation in English?
