Explanation:
Along the lines of Tony, I think "respectively" was intended, but this does not correctly conveys the meaning. Changing it into "or" should make it clear:
"occupational exposure limits OR biological occupational exposure limits"

agree  Tony M: I quite agree, the abbreviation is certainly common enough for 'respectively', but as we've both said, in EN, 'or' is a more natural conjunction to use here. This use of 'respectively' is very typical of German usage, and I suspect a translation here.

disagree  Abouzar Oraki: What about the period/dot in front of the "rsp"? Do you think it is a typo? Not at all.

Respirable suspended particulates

Explanation:
Indoor Air Quality
in Office Buildings:
A Technical Guide
A Report of the
Federal-Provincial Advisory Committee
on Environmental and Occupational Health:
The size range of concern to human health and IAQ is 0.1-10 mm.
Particles smaller than 0.1 mm are generally exhaled, and most particles above 10 mm will be filtered by the nose. Particulates are classified as total suspended particulates (TSP) or respirable suspended particulates (RSP), which consists of those with particle size under 10 mm. Small particles that reach the thoracic or lower regions of the respiratory tract are responsible for most of the adverse health effects, and guidelines have been developed for those particles 10 mm or smaller (PM10). ASHRAE Standard 62-1989 has adopted the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency PM10 standard of 50 mg/m3 for annual exposure and 150 mg/m3 for 24-hour exposure.

Peer comments on this answer (and responses from the answerer)
disagree  Tony M: Nice idea, but it doesn't really fit syntactically or even logically in the sentence as it stands.

disagree  Jennifer Levey: Try inserting 'respirable suspended particulates' in the ST in place of rsp., and see how much sense it makes.

disagree  Polangmar: Irrelevant - see my link in the discussion. By the way, the dot is after, not in front of, "rsp.".

Here's a DE > EN KudoZ where exactly this term was used; it seems the EN term is sometimes (incorrectly!) used in DE instead of the usual DE term 'bzw'.

And here's another KudoZ, FR > EN this time, where this oddly European use of 'respectively' is discussed — note that the commoner abbreviation is probably 'resp.'

And here's a page with a very interesting discussion of the misuse by non-ENSs of 'respectively':
