English term or phrase: out of the box as packaged
The phrase is found in a Guide Book for TV set:

Your TV can be mounted on a wall using a Wall-Mount Bracket (not supplied) out of the box as packaged.

Frankly, I do not understand what it meant... anybody can help?

Thank you so much!

Selected answer:your TV is ready to be be mounted on a wall as soon as you take it out of the box
Explanation:
you don't need to add / change anything to your TV - like fixing some kind of additional connecting elements to it.

"as packaged" = your TV as you will find it in the package. i.e. the connecting elements are part of the TV or are already affixed to the TV.

Sometimes the connecting elements are in the same box but not attached - you have to affix them yourself if you want your TV on a wall instead of standing on a table (where these connecting elements wouldn't be needed.

Explanation:
Packaged separately I suppose, not in the same box as the TV set.

disagree  Daryo: true, this "Wall-Mount Bracket" is not in the same box (you probably have to buy it separately) but that's NOT what is meant by "Your TV can be mounted on a wall ... out of the box as packaged."

  -> You're right. Thanks.

disagree  Tony M: It already says it is 'not supplied', so clearly it isn't likely to be found inside or outside the package.
