English term or phrase: indemnities

I'm translating an agreement requiring a contractor to maintain insurance coverage in connection with its services.
I'm not sure what ''indemnities'' refers to in item 3.2 below:

''Coverage Requirements.
3.1 Primary Coverage. Contractor’s policies will be considered primary without right of contribution to XXX’s insurance policies.
3.2 Policy Limits. Contractor’s policies will apply to the full extent provided by the policies. The coverage requirements in Sections 1 (Standard Coverages) and 2 (Service- Specific Coverages) above will not lower the coverage limits of Contractor's policies, and will not affect or limit Contractor's obligations or liability under this Agreement (including indemnities).

3.3 Additional Insured. Contractor will name XXX and its affiliates and their officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents and assignees as additional insureds in each of the policies required above except for:
....''

Are these sums of money OR do they refer to exemptions from liability?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
