Reference: More on Alice Cooper Blue lacquer finish Reference information: 'Another interesting Camco set I saw was played by a drummer named Whitey Glann in a film called The Rose. He had two large bass drums mounted horizontally on legs with pedals hitting underneath, leaving what would normally be the front heads to be used as batters, sort of like a huge fifties cocktail set. Whitey played with Alice Cooper and was probably responsible for creating that Celeste Blue lacquer ultimately catalogued as ‘Alice Cooper Blue’.' (http://tiny.cc/19h36w) As you can see, there is also an Alice Cooper White, or AC White finish, http://tiny.cc/ooi36w both apparently created by or for the then Alice Cooper drummer, Pentti "Whitey" Glan. Have a look at post #13 on this page, http://tiny.cc/aoi36w -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 day2 hrs (2013-11-26 10:13:22 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- You are welcome, Andrew! |
