I am proof-reading an article about movement capture, and placing markers in moving targets to then reproduce that movement on computers. The authors talks about:
There are several different graphical representations to evaluate the movement from diverse planes (sagital, frontal, superior).

Is superior the correct term here? Or should it be upper plane or something like that?

agree  Cormac Bracken: agree with b). Not sure about a), my feeling is that movement is lateral but a plane is sagittal
