What species is it? I could not find it anywhere. Could anybody help explain what creature/species it is? Any insight into this would be highly appreciated

But I am still not so sure about it. I have asked my client for clarification but he/she said no translation need, that's all.

It is a database of animals/plants/organisms of any kinds that are sensitive to chemical hazards and may be used as environmental indications including bacteria, fungi, algea, fish, shells, amphipods, amphibians...sorted alphabetically so no connection between them :)

But it appears as such in an entry of a species database, so no context available :). Yes, there may be a typo here, I think so but I cannot figure out

can you tell us the context please? If you can, the more erudite on the site may be able to work out whether there is a typo here. Even they may not be able to hazard a guess without context: what exactly is the main subject of the text, how do the sentences either side read, and so on?
