neutral  Yvonne Gallagher: M.A.B. gave dictionary ref. already for "kit" which can mean a lot of things depending on context. A "set of tools" is what a tradesman (carpenter/plumber etc) uses, not a diver or snorkeler. So, in this context "tools" would not be correct.

Explanation:
Is there something missing?A comma after "kit"? Or should it be "the ISDA kit"?

And which kit? The "kit" for snorkeling would normally be just mask, fins, snorkel. Is that all you need?
Or is it scuba diving? with regulator and cylinder see link below.

Anyway, the ISDA seems to be Italian so anything in English has been translated and some of the translations are quite bad. There are also quite a few typos just in these pages of their site.

neutral  Salam Alrawi: Dear Gallagy, I'm not sure what you're trying to say. The definition that M.A.B gave support exactly what I said "a set of tools". It is written exactly that way at about mid page. I'm no expert but I am familiar with the word.

  ->  "tools" is incorrect in this context. The dictionary entry gives lots of meanings for "kit" but you picked the wrong one for this context.
