I have used "chart" in the singular because the Persian word is singular, too. Also, we can see that تحلیلی can refer to نمودار only or to both نمودار and آمار. So, I have kept this ambiguity in the translation as well.

1. Although it is tempting to suggest 'analytical' as an immediate reponse, inferential statistics is a term that is used widely.

2. Chart is infact a table of data; the equal Farsi term would be 'Jadval'. Graph (or diagram) is a more accurate translation for 'nemoodar'

neutral  Edward Plaisance Jr: Inferential may be widely used, but from the explanation on the Wikipedia site, it doesn't really fit here. Graph, however, is acceptable in place of chart, although charts are more than just tables of data. Charts include text, diagrams, trend lines, etc
