Finnish term or phrase: reunaehto
Outside of mathematics and engineering, how would one translate the term "reunaehto". I'm sure it isn't "boundary conditions". Can anyone give me some advice on this?

constraint
Explanation:
Possible contexts: a) a fact that restricts the potential solutions to a problem; b) characteristic used to screen possible solution candidates; c) a relationship among objects that sets a limit on values the objects can achieve. In c) the translation would also be "boundary condition".

-> Contract terms list provisions (ehdot) of various kinds. Limitations or constraints (reunaehtoja) arise when the contract terms are qualified in some way. Maybe this helps!
