Finnish term or phrase: lipsuttelu-periaate
This is probably one of the strangest terms I've come across, so any suggestions for its English counterpart are more than welcome.

Kurri-linja YYXX on osa XX-linjaa ja pestään samanaikaisesti ja samaa reittiä. Pesu tapahtuu joko *lipsutteluperiaatteella*, jolloin linjan kumpaankin haaraan ohjataan pesua vuorotellen tai sitten kumpaakin haaraa yhtä aikaa.

Any suggestions?
