Nutrition
Finnish term or phrase: karppaaja
In an article about nutrition. I'm wondering if there is a neutral, yet informal term in English which corresponds to this one. Only thing I can think of is "a low-carb dieter".

someone on a low-carb diet

Explanation:
There is no specific term/noun for this as far as I'm aware. This type of expressions are the only ones I've ever come across in the Irish/UK press. The Finnish terms "karppaaja" and "karpata" are more to-the-point in this case.
