Finnish term or phrase: muina naisina
I know this is terrible without a lot of context. The sentence is "XXXX nyökkää muina naisina, pystytään, pystytään." It's a line of dialogue in an argument between a husband and wife. This line is a response to a question that takes the woman (XXXX) off guard--she had meant to reply angrily, but the question surprises her so much that she just agrees.

as if nothing had happened
Explanation:
the original idiom is muina miehinä, but here the writer is playing with the expression and because the subject is a woman the writer has given the original expression a twist

Thanks everyone! I like Anu's suggestion too ('without missing a beat'), but there can be only one...

negligently

Explanation:
muina naisina is a rather slang female of muina miehinä, which is a synonym for "huolettomasti" - negligently. Compare to "In a negligent manner."
