agree  Rogier Blokland (X): In dialects and Old Finnish kaatiot also occasionally means 'the hind part of a slaughtered lamb or calf', 'rump-bone' or 'haunch', and is originally a loan from Old Russian (*gatja), probably borrowed into Finnish via Karelian.
