used (by somebody) Explanation: This is so called ma-infinitive of the verb 'käyttää' (to use). Ma-infinitive is often used as a counterpart of e.g. English passive voice. Ma-infinitive declines like a noun and 'käyttämiä' is plural partitive. For instance, the example sentence can be translated as: 'Also some "public" beaches used by the Egyptians themselves are available.' BTW.
