Finnish term or phrase: asetin, asetinlaite (rail)
I am trying to translate the term "asetinlaite" in a couple of contexts, including this one:

"Koeajokäytössä asetinlaitteelta ei asettaa saa kulkuteitä, jotka johtavat ei-ETCS-varustellulle radalle."

Some sources translate this term as "interlocking", but I'm not quite happy with that (so far at least), because an "asetinlaite" seems to be a concrete object, whereas "interlocking" seems to refer to a system or pattern.

Another possibility I've seen is "signal box", but I don't know how accurate/standard a translation this is.

Do you have any other/better suggestions?
