d) Enduisage : C'est l'application de *mastic enduit gras* ou de vernis. Il se différencie du ratissage en ce qu'il ne laisse le matériau nu en aucun point et qu'il améliore plus ou moins l'uni de la surface, suivant qu'il comporte deux ou trois couches d'un enduit soigneusement poncé.

Het gaat om het voorbereiden van de ondergrond bij het opnieuw schilderen van meubilair.

Eerst wordt een voorstrijklaag (ratissage) aangebracht, waarbij gaatjes worden opgevuld. Dan volgt het aanbrengen van een deklaag (enduisage) met behulp van *mastic enduit gras* of vernis. "Mastic" is stopverf, maar in dit geval zijn de gaten al gestopt.

Explanation:
Enduire is plamuren en (mastic) enduit is plamuur. Plamuur bestaat in verschillende vormen en samenstellingen maar het wordt altijd aangebracht met een plamuurmes en alleen op de plaatsen die niet vlak zijn. In de rest van de zin lijkt het over grondverf te gaan.
