"talcage" is a word in English apparently but Google throws up mostly medical references for it.

I found a defintion: "Talcage, talquage, subst. masc. a) Technol. Opération qui consiste à talquer une surface pour l'empêcher d'adhérer à une autre. "
but I don't know what that would be in English. Does anyone know please?
