agree  philgoddard: Lots of possibilities, but you were first. It's troubleshooter, and you could say "roving troubleshooter". Just ignore Daryo's disagree!

-> Thanks. Your "roving troubleshooter" is very good :) (I ignored Daryo's disagree already...)

neutral  Nikki Scott-Despaigne: A TS is by his nature fairly mobile, but then so is "technicien". I think it important to convey the notion of "volant" specifically and that is missing here.//Both are imp. Not all TS mobile, so best to specify here.;-). TS=tech term, not poetic licence.

-> "troubleshooter" conveys the notion of "se mettant à la disposition des collaborateurs ayant besoin d’aide", which (IMHO) is more important than the notion of "volante" (which, as you yourself suggest) is implicit in "troubleshooter".

disagree  Daryo: a case of overdose on poetic licence ....

agree  Nikki Scott-Despaigne: "Floating" gets across the idea of "volant" which is important here. Thereafter, "IT support" or "troubleshooter" both work.

mobile technical adviser/counsellor

Explanation:
to give help, an adviser or counsellor and since he/she moves around, mobile should be the word

neutral  Nikki Scott-Despaigne: I'd read "mobile" to mean able to move from one site to another. In this particular case, the person moves from one "tage" to another, so I think "floating" works better.
2 hrs

neutral  Daryo: an "adviser/counsellor" [a real one, not some silly euphemistic job title] would be quite a few pay-grades above a "technician" ... and "mobile" expresses a different kind of "mobility"!
