I just asked someone , specialized in the field as I was confused between the terms , "and he explained that "dedicated board" is most suitable , as it is dedicated for a specific function. "driver board" is not for this context .

I agree about ducking the issue, but which is worse: getting it wrong, or not getting it exactly right? In one of my own patents some years ago, the translator had translated my reference to the crystal in an oscillator as a "liquid crystal", which made a complete nonsense of the whole thing!

thank you Mr chris and stephan, but This term is used only once iin the patent, and I couldn't find more context, that's why I thought the term "dedicated board" , which is good to avoid any ambiguity. Even If I agree with Mr Chris concerning the term "driver board"

I find that in patents it's best to avoid ducking issues, even when that means sometimes using a possibly unusual term. I don't think it's the translator's place to interpret whether the writer of the original text really meant to said "carte de commande" or "carte eléctronique" instead of "carte métier".
I agree that there are a lot of unreliable websites out there, but running a Google search of ""dedicated board" sensor" gives me 34200 results from all types of sources. The reason I quoted the SE one is because it was a bilingual source, it was by no means the only source I checked.

These 3 items (carte métier, sensor and display) are all supplied with DC power; what do you need between your sensors and your display? You need an electronic "interpreter", so "controller board" or "driver board" might be more appropriate than "dedicated board". You could duck the issue and simply describe it as an "electronic circuit board" ! As Tony (and others) have pointed out many times, non-native websites, even from blue-chip companies like Schneider, are not always to be trusted, having been translated by fallible folk like you and me...
