Domestic tank gas supply contract T&Cs

A quick google with guillemets, brings up a page of consistent photographs of a device: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=détendeur-déclencheur&comp...

But, despite my efforts, I have found no EN term for this item. "Pressure regulator-release" perhaps? The google page of images shows quite different devices though!

English translation:safety shutoff valve
Explanation:
These are fitted on french bottled gas installations. They have two functions, firstly they are a simply on/off valve and, two, they are a safety valve. In the second case, if the pressure drops too low on the output side, it indicates a leak and the gas supply is shut off. To reset it, you have to cycle the on/off valve to off and back to on. The reason I know this is because it can also trigger when the gas bottle runs out and mine did last week! It took me a while to figure out why the gas wouldn't come out of the burners on the stove after I changed the bottle. It is NOT the pressure regulator as I have one of those as well, installed downstream of this device.

neutral  Tony M: Regardless of the high/low pressure aspect, this isn't any kind of 'switch'.
