French term or phrase: histoire de l’action
Does anyone know how this area of historical research/academic study is usually translated?: 'histoire de l’action'? It's a field explored by researchers such as Yves Cohen at EHESS.
It could be history of action, or something more like 'acts', etc. ...

This seems to be how it is described here: https://eu.spb.ru/en/news/11373-a-transnational-history-of-l...

It's also used here: https://search.proquest.com/openview/b035123d23fe92b8b5c853f...

I can't say I've heard it used as a discipline, as such, but evidently it does describe a legitimate research field, by the look of it a subset of the history of power.

This is just an 'educated' guess, really, so if someone else can prove otherwise, so be it.
