Hi everyone,

I'm having difficulties distinguishing this term from "manquement". I am always certain they are referring to the same idea, but any other insights would be greatly welcome. Here's the full sentence:

Le Contrat peut être résilié de plein droit par l'une ou l'autre des Parties en cas de non-respect ou de manquement de l’une ou l’autre des Parties à une quelconque des obligations...

The merit of disregard is that the preposition of 'de' can easily be reflected in the same preposition in English with 'of' cf. failure to observe, Bridge and manquement à > failure to comply with, again Bridge.
