seals shall be placed on
Explanation:

These are what the seals look like:

"L’Autorité de la Concurrence met sous scellés des bureaux du siège de SFR et de Numéricable"
https://www.universfreebox.com/article/29773/MaJ-L-Autorite-...

So it seems that they are indeed physical seals.

You could also add "render the registered office inaccessible", in brackets possibly, to make the meaning explicit.

And I'm sure the procedure is the same in Luxembourg as in France, I don't think that there is any problem on that front.

Further to Peter's Agree and comment, the addition of the word "official" would clarify things. Of course not any old Tom, Dick or Harry can go around placing seals on things!

agree  Peter Shortall: The Council of Europe FR-EN Legal Dictionary confirms: "place official seals (on container or premises)" / Is it? Pity. I'll look after my copy all the more carefully from now on, well away from mugs of coffee!

-> Thanks Peter. I love that dictionary, even if it is a little old-fashioned. It's a pity it's out of print. / It's probably considered a rare book now, and goes for quite a few bob second-hand on Amazon, in decent condition presumably.

agree  Nikki Scott-Despaigne: A slightly different phrasing "shall be placed under seal" with reference to the premises.

/'hands-off' sticker- / seals are to be affixed /on the doors at/

Explanation:
It's the same process in Austria: a 'cuckoo sticker' is spread across the front and any back doors.

In E and W, the premises are locked up and also cordoned off with stickers.

Pls, no trite comments about past translations from 'reliable' translators. my step-father was there when London County Court Bailiffs and High Court *Sheriffs* of old used to levy execution.

agree  Daryo: seals are to be affixed /on the doors at ... // 'hands-off' sticker sounds too informal
