Bus/Financial - Law: Taxation & Customs / tax warehouse / tax declations
French term or phrase: une décade
So I did look and see that it refers to ten-day periods, ten whatever periods, but different examples are given in the text.

The context is: the declaration of products for tax purposes.

The tax office is inspecting the declarations and commenting on them and referring to various "décade".

Examples in the text: décade is a heading for a column with number entries 1,2,3,4 and so on, and then other times the décade entries are years 2017, 2018 (with periods within the years set out under a different column).

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks. I was foxed by it being used for a heading with years stated underneath, but just went back and looked at the periods in the adjacent column which are indeed 10 day periods. Monday morning and all that :-)

neutral  Daryo: in theory yes, in practice, not quite - you can find tons of examples of otherwise good writers joyously and totally care-free confusing "une décade" and "une décennie", to the point that you have always to check which one they meant from the context!

-> All well and good, very fine input perhaps, on a theoretical level, but unfortunately Julie (the Asker) has already confirmed that my answer fits her context. (See her note to answerer.)
