You may have to consider the possiiblity that this is company-specific jargon; if you know what the company is, you might be able to do some deeper research on the 'Net to see if they talk about their manufacturing facilities etc.
This might well be soemthing you'll have to "ask the customer".
Consider also the possiiblity that it could even be an expression already in EN, as is often used for parts of achines that may have originated from another country.

Here's a manufacturer of guidance systems that seems to include 'PTF' as one of their range types — so ti's even conceivable that the proprietary term might be being used here as short for the name of the part, like 'Hoover' for 'vacuum cleaner':
