technique des \"bouchons\" Cork gnawing test or cork gnawing method Explanation: I found a document that lists the different methods used for testing neuropharmaceuticals in rats and mice. On page 9+10 you can find the so called "cork gnawing test". I also found another paper were the cork gnawing method has been used to test an anxyolitic. The only thing I do not quite understand is why the cork gnawing test should be more influenced by the tonus than the two other tests, but maybe it depends on what specific drug or behaviour has been tested and possible adverse and side effects of the drug.
