tué à La Boisselle le 7 février 1915 à la Boisselle
âge 31 Ans
Inscrit au monument aux morts de Roscoff, Guy HERRY n’a pas de sépulture connue.

Another plausible translation could be "transferred to reserve establishment" which means he is no more in the employment of the army but may be called up for service in case of mobilization.

neutral  Matt Darley: I think the context suggest the individual was moving the other direction, doesn't it? Initially excused duty for family reasons in 1905, then made available for call-up in 1906.

Nikki S-D has done the FRE / ENG spadework on a previous question on 'la réserve de disponibilité' that could well be the key to this variation on a World War I theme.

Not my 'field' but that of my late British Territorial Army uncle who also had to answer a call-up in World War II.
