I have been able to find it by googling but the English title is not given

I think in EN you can pretty much use IR and infrared at will, which is not perhaps so much the case in FR.

Yes, Germaine is right: after further research (hampered by numerous errors in online documents!), I have found that it is indeed "polycrystalline CR²+ ZnSe"
